Today is 100th birthday of Aleksander Tarnawski "Upłaz" last living Cichociemny ("Silent Unseen") - elite group of 316 Polish paratroopers, trained in GB and parachuted into Poland to organise resistance. 103 of them was killed by Germans, 9 by Communists, 91 took part in the Warsaw Uprising of 1944
